Can you recommend a good "semi-formal" camera bag?

Comrades,

Hopefully, this has not been covered in another thread...but can y'all recommend an unobtrusive bag that could qualify as "semi-formal" attire?

Just large enough to tote a rangefinder or two, a coupla lenses... maybe to a snobby wine and cheese gallery opening, a dreary evening tour at MOCA/ MOMA, or how 'bout a charity event at another trendy restaurant about to go under?

In other words, this is not a bag for guys' night out with nuclear chicken wings and Bud Lite at Hooter's.

You must post some photos of what you would be wearing. One could not possibly make an intelligent suggestion about such an accessory without knowing what you are accessorizing. Such would be gauche. I cringe at the thought of a fellow RFF member committing such a faux pas.

The stylistic photographer will certainly have a selection of different bags for different outfits and occasions. This is as critical as the decision to use a black or chrome camera body / black or chrome lens.

Yes, for example, we don't know what shoes you'll be wearing.
 
Thank you for all the great responses! These are some great ideas...

Today, I ordered a "Billingham Hadley Shoulder Bag Small", in black canvas, brown straps, brass fittings.

But, Mr. Michaels and Mr. MWooten make an important point ...maybe I'll need two bags.

I never knew about Fogg and Filson Bags, so I'll check their products. And that Wotancraft "Ryker" looks just dandy...a little too "handbaggy" perhaps...but good quality...

Billinghams and artisan and artists are really nice bags.
You should be able to find something that suits your taste between the 2 of them... hopefully anyways.

Foggs are really really nice bags with the price to match too..... though..I would think that they are more formal looking rather than semi formal.
