Yeah, I'll stick with my Pentax 55/1.8. It's cheaper than the 58/1.4G, has MF, about the same facial distortion close up, focuses closer, etc. I suspect that people buying anything that ends with 1.4G are not bothering to check comparisons.

Or they shoot weddings and need AF to consistently lock focus on moving subjects at large aperture...

Were I to have my druthers I really like the current Voigtlander 58mm 1.4, or even the older Nikkors. The Voigtlander though is a real gem. I just can't justify having 2 58mm's.

A little further off topic, the 58mm 1.4 Nokton covers the 44x33 sensor of the GFX. Imagine using that thing...swooon.
