Does anyone knows the filter size of this lens? I have it now and want to order some filters in B&H but can't find any spesifications about this lens on the internet.
I would olso like some adbyce about what set of filter to buy son I can use it whith all my futures M lenses using filter adaptors. What do you guys do?

Either 48mm or 49mm depending ...

The older 28mm Elmarit produced before 1979 used 48mm filters. Newer ones take 49mm.

1st Gen 1965- 48mm
2nd Gen 1969- 48mm
3rd Gen 1979- 49mm
4th Gen 1993- 46mm
If you post a Picture of your lens I could tell you which version you have.
Obviously you don't have the 4th Gen as this lens has E46 engraved on the front.
The 3rd Gen has a hood which attaches via a pair of stubbly metal studs that protude from the barrel.
The Feet scale on the barrel of the 1st Gen is in Red.

Thanks a lot! Mine is 49 I went to a store and try out some filters. Now Im going to order some B&W filters.
