No likey digital-phooey
For Canadians who are on RFF, or I guess for anyone else who's interested, this is an unabashed "plug" for the Photographic Historical Society of Canada. I admit to being a member, though this thread is in no way sanctioned by the powers-that-be (in fact they'll probably be pissed).
Anyway, the PHSC is a great organization with great meetings in Toronto once a month (North York), great on-line and printed magazines, and it's the sponsor of a great annual camera show (The "Spring Fair" May 28th).
Other similar organizations have disappeared. A "plug" for a non-profit organization trying to keep the art and technology of traditional photography alive isn't so bad I think. PHSC is not just about "gear" either. Their web-site is www.phsc.ca.
