Hi !

Bought a canon 100/3.5 (white version) recently and found that the aperture ring does not "click" at any f-stop, is it normal (original design) or something wrong? Picture taken is wonderful though.

There is no click stop for the aperture ring of this lens (34mm filter size). This little pocket rocket packs quite a punch for the images it delivers.

Cheers,

I've seen this lens once at a dealer here in Sao Paulo, it looked almost as new, perfect glass. It made me wow as the iris was perfectly round at every aperture! didn't take it though, it was $300 with no finder...

Perhaps you mean that focus has to be dead accurate because of the "crop factor"? I have the same trouble with my Canon Serenar 85mm f/2 (no click stops) when I use it at 5 feet or less and maximum aperture.
