Canon 28mm f3.5 (Black version) LTM on M9 Testing shoots~

Gotta admit that I like the imaging quality and small size of my older, chrome Canon 28/3.5 lens.

Had both the black and older silver versions, I much prefer the older design, much smaller and portable, and better build quality overall. The images looked the same to me.

Kevin, I use the lens on my nex5 and i find that the corners just dont get sharp , even stopped down to f8 or f11, do you find the same thing on the M9 or is it just the nex5 sensor issue??

Hi,

Yes,wide open will always make the corner doesn't very sharp also when using on M9. It is usual in Canon LTM and other old lenses. But I don't care about it~ Haha.

Nice photos of Luzern, the Jungfraujoch-Bahn, Zurich, among others.

You should try a Nikkor 28/3.5 .... the only vintage 28 I decided to keep (did try the Canon 28/2.8).

Thanks for your advice. I just bought a Nikkor 50 1.4 ltm. As good as another Zeiss copy Canon 50 1.5. Now,28 3.5 is my next target. Haha

Actually I also find there is something vignetting appear in some of my photos. But I like this feel~ Haha.

Vignet is quite mild and yes, vignet has a different feel..its totally subjective...🙂

Yes, i just got a nikon s2, recently alot of users are selling their s2...and i found some nice nikkor lens to try on.

Guess, while i am unable to find a reasonably priced canon 35mm f2...i swop over to try out the nikkors while the price is good....🙂

So have been testing out lens and camera with films...🙂

I think its time u should run another roll of film for all these lenses that u have got!
