That is mine.
I had to do some cleaning on that lens, but it worked out very well. I don't need so I figured I'd sell it - my real goal is to move the Hexar, but that is just not going well.
There are, however, worse things in the world than having to keep the Hexar. I programmed the silent mode back into it to see if that made a difference.
One question - what is a Leica LTM-to-M adapter worth? I was selling a generic brand for $30 and I got bombed with questions asking whether I had any Leica adapters instead. I do - quite frankly, they seem flimsier to me than the CV ones.

even though i have the 35/2 i intend on keeping the 35/2.8 also.

There are a few people who have asked about the lens - I gave the first gentleman who replied the right of first refusal so I'm waiting on that.
The Hexar is very nice - it's very, very capable and it is everything it's cracked up to be, but it's just not for me. I figure I had to sell either the Hexar or the IVSb w/ 50/1.5 to keep my total camera budget somewhere close to reasonable, so I'm trying to part with the Hexar and keep the Canon. Here's hoping 🙂

I do not have the rear cap, but I do have the original front cap. It is the black and chrome version of the lens - I believe it is actually the last version. (5th version?)

Ok, THANKS! Now I am fretting over whether I can get it. Best price I have seen on one to date. I have been wanting one for my Bessa R. ARRRRRRRRgh 🙂
AS to adaptors, correct and consistent thickness seems to be key. And those that have plain brass on one side, and are chrome everywhere else do look kinda tacky, but that's a sign of quality, kid you not! The reason is that there's been a finish machining cut after the item is chromed, so it's likely to be the correct precise thickness.

That is a great price for a fantastic lens, I paid $150 for my black & chrome one on the bay but in fact it was almost spotless. I agree with Joe, that lens offers really pleasant results, very sharp focused areas and 'dreamy' look on the oof, the way it renders the background reminds me a bit of the Jupiter-12, but it's a lot sharper.
The lens is very compact and very well built, and after seeing the results I don't think you'll need a hood for it with its recessed front element. The focus throw is rather long so it's a bit difficult to fast focus it but OTH offers more precision, also I mainly use 35s with hyperfocal distance for the street.
As for comparison with for example my voigtlander 35/2.5, I'd say that where the CV lens delivers ink drawings, the canon gives you carbon ones, of course you may or may not like its looks, but if you get it and find it not to be your piece of cake you can always sell it here and recover your investment.

Aside from the characteristics of the lens, it's size is a terrific bonus. It is tiny - if you carry it in a jacket or vest pocket, it is so light that you forget which pocket it's in! I recommend the lens if anyone stumbles across one at a good price.
This particular example, thankfully, is sold. The Hexar, on the other hand, is not - I am now planning to take it to my grave to spite the rest of the world ;-)
