Hello!
I need some help here from the experts in Canon rangefinder lenses
I bought this small lens yesterday! It is a 35mm 1:2 no. 20038 and 39mm LTM. It does fit in all my rangefinder canon and leica cameras and I am just wondering about the year of manufacture (I was told around 1962) and also if this lens was made for the Canon 7S or 7S"z". Another doubt is about the SHORT focal lenght of the barrell (to adjust focus) It is really very short and goes from 1m , 1,2 , 1,5 , 2, 3, 5, 10 and infinite! is that correct?? I never had a so short focal lenght lens. Thank you for any help.
Antonio

What you have is a really nice Canon LTM ( Leica Thread Mount ) lens. You need to get an adapter that screws on so you can use it on an M-series. No big deal. It should mount fine on any LTM camera like the Canons or earlier Leicas.

The Canon 35/2 is a very good optically and well made lens.
