Canon 50/1.5, good price

I was watching this auction because I was wondering how much the lens would bring. Somebody got a good deal at $270. These lenses were routinely bringing $500 not too long ago. Maybe every RFFer who wants one already has a copy.

Very nice price. Hard to tell the actual condition. I would have gambled it though for $270 for sure.

$270 a f1.5/50 on a camera wow, yeah.......that was a real bargain!

I hope a real Photographer got it and not a dealer, where you'll see the lens go back up for sale in a few weeks for $600+ 🙁

Between the scratches on the front surface and a lot of haze on internal elements, this lens might be too risky. Sometimes the haze cleans up OK, sometimes not. Factor in $100 or so for an overhaul and you may still not have a good lens.
