Canon 50mm 1.4

Any suggestions for a lens shade? I'm having a hard time getting my hands on an original.

There are S50 shades all over the place but they command higher prices. Heavystar sells 48/49mm adapter rings and you could stick on a 49mm shade.

What I did until I found my S50, was to find a third party 48mm hood. 48mm used to be a little more popular so hoods made by Ednalite and Walz among others are out there and incredibly cheap. Sometimes free.
