Canon 50mm 1.8 very soft at wide open

Hi everyone, I would like to buy Canon 50mm 1.8 ltm lens.
Seller send me test shots:
1.8f - fex.net/show/699670566571/1043747980?1600w,0
2.0f - fex.net/show/699670566571/1043748018?1600w,0
2.8 - fex.net/show/699670566571/1043748041?1600w,0

I have noticed that at wide open aperture this lens is too soft, is this is normal behavior?
Actually sharp image start from 2.8f

I do Not own the lens but this sort of softness is normal in my books when used wide open.

It looks like first shot where it was at maximum aperture is focused somewhere above trc.
I wonder why seller is not providing regular focus chart, test pictures.
