Canon 50mm f/1.8 on a Bessa R?

Just bought this lens from a fellow rff member for my Bessa R and wondered if anyone was using this lens on his/her Bessa R?

Hi Ted, I have in the past. No problems. RF okay, focus okay, metering okay. And by okay, I mean 100%. Recently, I've been using the lens on an R2.

The Canon 50/1.8 is a great fit for the "R". It's one of 3 I use, and it gets plenty of use.

I'm getting a 50mm f2.5 CV lens from Clintock. I like its compact size.

other 50's: '69-79 Cron, col. Cron, Summitar, Summarit, f3.5 Elmar, f2.8 Elmar, J3, J8, I-10, and 6 other 50's in Contax mount.

I used a little black Canon 50 f/1.8 on an R, and it was a great match. It's small, and light enough that it doesn't tip the camera over.
