Canon LTM Canon 7 Black Body

Canon M39 M39 screw mount bodies/lenses
Let us know how it goes!

My Canon 7s generates almost as much positive/friendly attention on the streets as my Leica IIIc/f ST and the lenses are pretty decent too.

Enjoy!

Almost done with that post-CLA test roll...takes a while for 36 shots. In the meantime- big thanks to Ken at Market Camera in Lake City Seattle for the Canon Camera Holder "L" ! That little sucker is hard to find and he made me a good deal for it. I like the option of a vertical hang with something like my Black Rapid camera strap - especially when carrying TWO cameras.

That's the "little brother" Canon L2 in black... also fits that holder:cool:

Finally got that roll finished - I was able to get 38 exposures on that roll:eek:

Images turned out pretty good - but sadly, there is still some capping at high speed...:(

Here's a couple of Kyoei Acall 35mm shots - love that little lens:)

Really love this camera - more good results this summer! I did not see any capping at high speeds on my last roll through - I think the warmer temps and regular exercise are good for this old Canon:rolleyes:

For ease of use reasons- I find myself just leaving the Kyoei Acall 35mm wide angle on there. It is a decent performer BUT the f3.5 max aperture has been too slow a few times. Not sure I wanna drop another $300-$400 on a F2 Canon or similar but a certainly get the appeal !

Great results!
I picked up a chrome Canon 7 this past March, and it's now my favorite and most used camera. I love the finder, the build, the styling, and the ease of use. They are exceptional cameras for the $100 or so that they typically sell for.
I'd love to find a black one.
Another option for an inexpensive and slightly faster 35mm lens would be a Jupiter-12. I love mine.

Thanks everyone:)
I admit that part of the appeal is the black paint -
I also like those black 85 and 100mm lenses of this era:rolleyes:

Some recent selections with expired Costco Fuji 400 - pretty grainy but I like 'em. These are all on a November drive with the Kyoei Acall:

Currently testing a Nikkor 8.5cm f2 (late f32 version). Seems a shame not to use those pretty 85mm framelines :)

This particular lens has issues and may need servicing- we shall see.

Still haven't finished that roll testing the Nikkor 8.5
In the meantime, here's some recent work with the Kyoei Acall 35mm-
