Canon LTM Canon 7 Frame Lines

Canon M39 M39 screw mount bodies/lenses
I'd love to know more about this. do you have a thread about it? Any information anywhere?

Wouldn't it look similar to a canon 7 with a contax to ltm adapter mounted to it? You could make that yourself I you wanted to.

It's not clear to me if any of these couple to the rangefinder. I'm not sure zone focusing would result in photos any better than with an equivalent Jupiter or Industar LTM lens used on Canon RF camera.

I'll do a write-up about it once it's done (so in a long time?). There's too many half-done projects on the internet (now including mine, I guess).

The M mount FFD is 1mm less than LTM (not a big deal), but needs a much larger diameter bore. So I had to remove bits of the slow speeds escapement and move the closing shutter pulley rearwards (!) to clear the M bayonet...

(apologies for the thread drift)

I look forward to it. Back when I had a 7 I thought about doing the conversion. I even contacted Ken Ruth about it. He said it would be too difficult and didn't want to try it. I kind of figured things would have to be moved around a bit since the bayonet is so much larger than the screw mount. Sounds like a lot of work!
