Hello my name is Claude and I am new.

I had a Canon 7 Rangefinder Scewmount. I carried out a complete cleaning, I lost three screws to screw on the gear change selector. What screw number. I am trying to find the category of screws. thank you very much

cordially

Not sure what you mean by "gear change selector," but the part numbers for the screws that attach the shutter speed dial are S3818 (2 screws) and C2601 (one screw). Hope this helps.

I think it is 1.7mm in diameter
How come you lost all of them otherwise you can just measure it then order

I dont have a Canon 7, but a 7s. I pulled a couple screws out of the shutter speed dial, both measured 1.68mm in diameter, one was 6mm long, the other was 4mm long. I dont have a thread pitch gauge, but threads are pretty tight, about 0.5mm from peak to peak on the threads. Page 5 of the attached link for Canon 7 repair manual shows that two of the three screws are shorter than the longest one. Happy hunting finding suitable screws.

Thank you all for the information.
Unfortunately the Duofold RG link does not ship to Montreal, Canada.
While searching I found this, I don't know if it can work

When I got the camera there were only two screws that I unscrewed. They fell on the ground and I lost them. Clumsy move There was no third screw.

but I found this!

Keep a decently high-powered magnet to hand. And a torch. I've recovered many dropped screws by crawling on my hands and knees with a torch in one hand and sweeping the carpet with a magnet attached to a screwdriver in the other.

I have 6 inch/15cm neodymium bar magnet that I have used to retrieve the tiny set screws fom J-3s from carpets. Good advice Coldkennels!

The metallic click of a screw hitting a magnet has bought me a lot of relief over the years. Damn things are absolute saviours.
