Canon 9000F Mk II scanner-trouble now

I now get strange 'Magenta' areas and some 'scan lines' on my mint Canon 9000F Mk II Flatbed I was given. It was perfect with 35mm and 120 films. I have wiped the glass. Can anyone help ?
