Hi Folks,
I got a Canon AF35M for free a long time ago at a flea market and I just gave it to my 5 year old son to play with. The other day my 4 year old daughter showed up with it around her neck and I thought about powering it with 2 AAs and it seemed to live !
I played with the camera a little and I was very surprised to discover that it never missed the right focus even in very low light conditions. There is a ruler at the base of the finder to tell what is the focus adjustment and it seems always spot-on.
This camera is even equipped with a focus hold lever and with a delayed rewind operation activated only at the release of the shoot button.
In compare it sounds difficult to understand how today a large variety of top notch AF cameras, be there Point&Shoots or SLRs have so much difficulty to establish the right focus even with their AF assist beam.
