Sad to say someone is trying to mess up a nice auction.

There is no indication that the actual seller is involved in this, but I have received two emails now regarding this item not from ebay or through the ebay system, therefore not from the seller. The emails are in poor English, to the point that I don't know what they are looking for.

I have of course reported both emails to ebay but wanted to warn anyone here who may be looking at this item that something fishy is going on.

Third fake email recieved. I had this happen to me before, I won an item and received 3 second chance offers. Just stupid.

This happened to me for an M6 I was bidding on. I came in 4th, but got an email saying the original high bidder fell out and that I could have it for my bid. I emailed them back telling them how thrilled I was and that I'd take it! After their next reply I told them I had a friend in their area who owed me money and that I'd be sending them a bank cashier's check for $5,000 which they could deposit, take out the $1000 for the M6, an extra $200 for their trouble, and to send the rest to my friend.

Funny, never heard from them again.

Good one! What goes around, comes around.
