Great that they moved from the annoying smooth surface of the 1v to the crinkle finish. The 1v is very scratch or "impression" prone.

the comparison photos are shot with a EOS 5DIII and Macro EF 2.8/100 (not L), this Camera will get a rest now, because I enjoy the 1Ds 🙂
