Canon Eos Rebel K2 - Any good?

Anyone have any experience with this camera? I have the chance to steal one for a song (lens and body for less than the pirce of either), and am seriously considering it.

Forgot to mention, it's a display model, kept in a case at a Target. My thinking is, in the age of P&S digitals, how many people are walking into Target and asking to see a 35mm SLR? You can probably count the number on one hand.
