So I might have the opportunity to pick up some interesting Tamron lenses in Canon FD mount.
However Canon FD mount lenses seem to have a relatively short flange distance. What mounts are shorter than FD that are still around (and as an extension what mounts can I get adapters for that don't include poor quality glass, I assume NEX and m4/3s? Anything else?). I've also seen some talk of leitax adapters. How much do these cost and does that increase my possibilities?
Next question is: If I understand correctly than Tamron made a bunch of lenses in Adaptall mount. How do I know if the lenses are Adaptall mount? Is there any markings or anything that will indicate this? If it is adaptal does this mean with the proper adapter the lens should be usable with pretty much any mount (I could just get a Nikon adaptall mount and than use that to adapt it to pretty much any other mount kind of thing?)
Thanks in advance to anyone willing to enlighten me,
Chris
