Canon FL 58/1.2 - a new found love

Very nice pics, Krosya.

It looks to me that the 58/1.2 is better than common saying.

I'm a big fan of the 58mm focal length. Very useful at events or festivals.

Yes, the FL lenses were heavyweights. This is true for the first FD series as well. My chrom nose 50/1.4 FD is heavier than any other 50/1.4 I have including the NIKON. And my 55/1.2 FD might be heavier than the 50/0.95 RF.

Thank you. I think some lenses may be in poor condition and that is why the so-so reputation. Mine is a clean one.

It's one of the prettiest lenses ever made - simply an awesome piece of glass metal engineering. That said I have found the 55mm F1.2 FL sharper wide open. I love them both!

Nice pics Krosya!

Anybody has ever done a comparison between FL 58/1.2 , FL 55/1.2, FD 50/1.2?
Interested in one of these to use with NEX.
Also how much are those lenses costing one of these days?

Here are a few of my shots with the FL 58mm f/1.2 (all shot wide open):
