canon hood blocking

Hi

Before jumping and buying the S-50 for my 1.4 and the W-50 for my on-its-way 35mm 1.5, I was wandering how much of an M finder these hoods are blocking??

Do you know of any vented hood for 48mm filter size?

The hood of my Serenar 50/1.8 did not block enough of my M3's V/F to bother me much. Your hoods are larger, but it's generally possible to move the camera around a bit and see what's going to come in the frame.

The eBay seller Heavystar may have the vented hoods you want.
