Ok you need a user manual for the cameras and the meter.
But from my (poor) memory.
You remove the translucent incident light cover, if you have it, to reveal the clear bubbled plastic cell cover, and then cover the cell, with your palm so that no light is reaching it. In this state the meter should read zero. I cannot recall how you set the calculator.
If it is offset, then you remove the detachable meter, (the knob lifts in some way to allow the meter to be slid from the accessory shoe, note no force is needed). Then with an instrument screwdriver very gently turn the little screw head in the centre of the plastic base of the meter, in very small increments, as small as you can manage, until the needle points exactly at the zero mark with the call covered. You will have to turn in real small increments invert the meter cover the cell check the zero, & repeat in small stages, until the zero is accurate.
It may be desirable to get the user manual first. there is an electronic version lurking somewhere on the web.
There may be nothing wrong with the meter other then it suffered mechanical shock in post.
The built in meter on the other camera will have the same adjustment, but I've never seen one so you do need the manual or another post.
Good luck.
