Canon Lower Case MIOJ

I've recently acquired the lower half of a Canon case that was made during the early post-war period and is marked "MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN". The attcahed pictures show it clearly and I rate it as overall Very Good condition. The only suspect part is what appears to be a carefully re-stitched section on the front bottom.

Note also the Eagle over Canon stamp just above the snap post.

I'm trying to establish value. Is there anyone on the RFF who can give me an accurate assessment or point me to someone who can? I'd appreciate it.

i'm no expert on the cases...
i did have a canon p lower case that i sold for 25 bucks u.s. and the buyer seemed pleased with the price.

The case for my IVSB2 has provisions for the side rail flash. I would guess this is for an earlier camera before this type of flash was used.

MIOJ is on Japanese products for export from the begining of the American occupation ,till March 20 1952. So the case could be for any post war Canon rf model that was made till then , without the flash rail.

Early (and valuable) among MIOJ cases might be an S-II case. Quite different in appearance. This probably was for a IIB.

I've got an S-II case, and a number of others. Most are more fragile than the one pictured here, but this is only a half case, with no strap. Spotted an S-II case on KEH new website tonite. Engraved with name of a US General, for a little added kick. Priced at $29, if anyone is interested. That one also has the CPO ideogram, which adds to the interest.
I'm a collector, but frankly the cases aren't of great interest to me. Most are in tough shape, and not photogenic. And they don't take pics....

Case is for the model IIB due to the two small holes on the sides for the strap lugs
Value wise, only to someone who is missing a bottom section or a banged up base. Anything with has <CPO> and MIOJ belongs to the S-II cameras before 4/1949.
