Just picked up a mint Canon ML for $.99. I particularly wanted this one because the film speed goes up to 1000 rather than simply 400. I've shot many pics with the ML while traveling in E. Europe and the UK which came out just great. As soon as I shoot the roll I just placed in it tonight, I'll post some for your critical eyes.........
 
Prices right now are sick, aren't they? How do we can keep taking pictures when this niceties come cheaper than candies?

Will wait for shots from your ML. I've always resisted it because of AF and motorwind, though must admit it is interesting camera.
 
Looking forward to them. I have a 35ML, also one with ISO1000, that I enjoy using quite a bit. Nice fast lens, and good handling for a P&S. Almost like a little SLR. It's my favorite "carnival camera" at fairs and such, where the noise from the buzzy motor-wind isn't obtrusive.

I also hacked mine slightly (instructions up here on RFF somewhere) to disable the hellaciously loud low-exposure BEEP (which doesn't help much anyway, since the flash on mine doesn't work.)

Here are a couple of shots taken with my $.99 ML and Fuji 400 film. I'm still trying to get used to my new Canon scanner. I think the colors should be a little darker. The prints are great - sharp and contrasty!
 
Looks good lens for my eye. Scanner might be cnfused by bright/dark areas, can't offer opinion on this. Have you got also some available darkness shots?
 
i also found a nice ML at a thrift store but they charged me $6 for mine! lol but i was more than happy to buy it. it's so cute and so easy to use... and it takes AA batteries!!! i definitely agree about the motor winder. SO LOUD!! i think i would exchange having to hand wind it to listening to that loud whirring any day heheh.

EDIT:
oops i was talking about the canon mc not the ml SORRY! my bad lol. but i do have the nikon L35AF and it's almost just like the ML ;)
