For Canon rangefinder lenses on Nikon rangefinders? Or vice-versa?

I think that it is about using Nikon SLR lenses on Canon bodies.
the best is the one made by Canon,
the Canon N adapter.
Nikon F lenses to Canon FD bodies
hard to find,
long discontinued,
and not cheap.

The adapters are designed to use Nikon F lenses on Canon bodies. Canon wasn't real keen on promoting this, and most of the adapters do not carry the Canon name and logo.
There is more than one type, and that is what I'm looking for information about. I know there was an earlier one that carried the B&H name, and is supposed to be made to tighter specs than the later model. I believe that the later model had just "C/N" or something similar for lettering. It was, however, a product made by Canon, and sold by them. I think it was sold by Professional Services, which handled sales to qualified pro photographers.
I'd also be interested in the boxes used, and the instructions, if any, that was sold with the adapters. I'm sorry I didn't spell this all out in my earlier request.
