Just had a nightmare loading some film from a Canon P onto reels for developing. Big reverse curl at the leader end which caused no end of problems. Is this peculiar to the P (winding too tightly on the take-up spool perhaps) or is it because I rewound the film halfway through (first time I think I've done that). Don't have the same problem with my Bessa T or Ambi Silette. Fortunately a test roll so I can afford to lose it if it turns out kinked or grubby but I'll be using the Ps at a shoot on Saturday so need to know its not going to happen again...
Still, its taught me to re-roll film in the dark, and reassemble jammed spirals 🙄

Pretty common with a lot of cameras from this era. I usually trim off the leader before spooling - which helps.

I also usually let the finished roll sit for a day to re-settle in it's cartridge.
