This is a different issue from a much earlier post (Canon P - won't rewind!) but just as concerning.
I bought a Canon P a month or so ago in great condition (freshly CLAed, according to the seller.) I've only run three rolls of film through it so far, and unlike every other roll of film I've rewound over the past 45 years (where it gets stiffer and stiffer and then smooth as the film releases) the second and third roll got stiffer and stiffer and then stopped, to the point where it felt like I was going to strip something in the rewind lever. With some gentle nudging the rewind completed okay, but I can't imagine this is normal behaviour.
Has anybody else experienced this?
