Canon photo printer?

Hello, Boys and girls.. I know nothing about printers, could someone tell me what they know about the Canon Pixma iP6000D inkjet?

I do not have the printer myself, but I used to have a Canon s900 and I think the technology/inks have not changed a lot. Colour pictures were very nice, black and white I have never been able to make work; not even with small gamut inks; I just could not get rid of the colourcast. I now have a HP8450 and B&W is a piece of cake, because of the special phot grey cartridge. I like the reviews on
www.steves-digicams.com ; they have one on your printer as well.
