Canon Pixma Pro - 1 Experience

I have just replaced my Pixma Pro 9500 II with a Pixma Pro - 1 - it was a special deal almost beyond belief. Has anyone had any experience with this printer, and if so are there any traps for young (or in my case inexperienced) with this printer?

Looks like no one uses this behemoth - a pioneer yet again! Suggest that this post self destructs in 5 seconds.
