Ruben, you make a fair point.
I think all of the fixed lens rangefinders of that era - the Himatics, the Canons, Yashicas, the Olys - performance-wise, were in the same range. All very good. They were mostly distinguished by features: "f1.4 lens", "QL loading", "aperture priority", "spot metering mode".
Part of the genre was rangefinder focus + very good glass... A good thing, happy they exist, favorite cams to shoot... If I had a Konica Auto S2 I would likel be boasting about that one, same for the Canon (neither of which I own...)
