Canon rangefinder lens group in Flickr

Just wanted to let folks know that I saw a need to have a group dedicated to Canon LTM lenses on Flickr, so I just up and formed one. I'd like to invite anyone interested to join up, post a photo, leave a comment or ask a question there.

Having a group wherein all photos taken with a Canon lens (or even a few shots of the lenses) would be a nice place to weigh the differences and see what these babies can do. Feel free to stop by and sign on, if you've a mind to.

I posted a message and joined the group as Canon lenses are my current favorite. My flickr link is posted with this message and I have a special group of just rangefinder photos. I plan on adding more as a get my best shots together with rangefinder cameras and lens.

Excellent. I have recently managed to pick up a great condition (no wrinkles in curtain) P and clean 50 / 1.4. love th equality of the lens and the solidity of the P.

Love them! But I need to stop trying to acquire more of those Canon P's. I have two. Yesterday I lost a lowball bid on a Canon P with Canon 50/1.8 lens that sold for $177.50! Cheapest ever price on ebay from a 100% rated seller. Jeez.... For the price of a couple of tankfulls of gas, I could have had another one of these masterpieces of photo equipment.

I'm not trying to prevent anyone from joining these. I belong myself. But the Canonet falls under the RF lens category as well. Users of this camera are welcome in my group as well, as long as we don't get inundated with only Canonet shots. (Not likely) 😀

That doesn't seem to happen to me 🙂 I've sold 3 P's in the last 2 years and somehow I have 3 P's. I just had one CLA'd at Essex and the difference is amazing. Now, what to do with the other 2...
