Have I missed anything?

I would have bought the Canon S90 case but I have a Lensmate filter adapter fitted and camera does not fit.

So I use a Lowepro Apex 30AW -- great for transport and accessory storage, not good for quick access.

So I often carry S90
in pants pocket -- awkward to get to, bulky, lint-ridden -- or
in jacket pocket -- it has fallen out at least 6 times. Lucky so far.

Here's what I'm looking for:
Essential

a) horizontal carry
b) belt clip, not loop
c) not a velcro closure, not a zipper closure (maybe magnet like Canon S90 case)

Desired but not a deal breaker

d) room for extra card and battery

Searches turn up some likely candidates, but all seem to have loops not clips.

Close calls:

OpTech Snapeez Horizontal Wide Body Large (loop, not clip)

Olympus Sport Neoprene Model 202320

Have I missed anything?

Thanks.

Giorgio

The S90 is a camera to always have with you and be able to take quick snaps, at least that is what I use it for most of the time. I dropped it several times even whilst riding my bicycle. It is scratched, but still does the trick. I would not worry about the case and just use the camera, otherwise a cheap easy to remove neoprene shell, no zippers etc. My 2 cts

Thanks, Peter. I agree about having it always with me and a belt clipped case, like my cell, is what seems to do the trick. Like you, I don't worry too much about nicks and bruises, but remembering to move it from one piece of clothing to another is sometimes a trick and reaching into pants pockets for it is actually slower than flipping open a belt clipped case.
Have others just given up on a clip and gone with a case with a belt loop or....
Thanks.
