Another question for the pros, is this lens hood for a rangefinder? I am having difficulty finding information on it. I don't need it so I am considering selling it. However, I don't know what I am selling. LOL

Thanks

Greg

Greg:

Yes, you can use it on the Canon 100mm f2 rangefinder lens -- it has a 58mm filter thread. I'd wager that "T-60" or "T-60-2" is written on the other side of the hood. I'd also wager that canon sold the same hood (however marked) for both SLR and rangefinder lenses, and just used different boxes. (In fact, the rangefinder and super-canomatic lenses are basically the same; same optics, same filter size, same look.)

Cheers,

David

you're right

you're right

David,
You are correct. 60mm is on the other side. So you can use it on both types. That is something I didn't know. Actually, I don't know a whole lot about most of the equipment that I own. Inherited from an uncle and I am getting to know it a bit.

Thanks for your help. BTW, it appears that this will fit a 50mm 1.4 on the Pellix. I think that is what you were referring to.
