Canon Sureshot Supreme

I have just made an ebay purchase of a Canon Sureshot Supreme from a well known charity seller. I paid a fair price in the knowledge that the money is going to a good and worthy cause. I have found these simple cameras to be a lot of bang for the buck and vastly underrated compared to Olympus Mjuii and other premium fast compacts. I have also found that the Sureshot nails exposure and focus reliably in most situations, moreso than its Olympus rival. I now own two of these and I am wondering if anyone else has similar experience of this mini marvel outperforming its counterparts from Olympus etc ?

Update, this turned out to be faulty, but I am glad to have given a donation to charity. It will be my breaker for spares.

Pity - did you get a decent case out of the transaction?
I've always been pretty pleased with the results I had from mine - long time ago now although its still 'in store'!

I found a couple Canon Sureshot's at the Goodwill here in town. Classic 120 and Z155 Caption. Classic 120 only $3.00 and the Z155 $4.00. A Nikon Lite Touch Zoom 120 was about $4.00 too. All three work just fine. My 3 Oly zoom's were eBay finds and were a little more than the Goodwill cameras but I would say they are just as nice as the other's. 400 or great ISO film. Pay attention to how the cameras work and they do a very good job.

Pity - did you get a decent case out of the transaction?
I've always been pretty pleased with the results I had from mine - long time ago now although its still 'in store'!

It came with the fitted case and strap and as luck would have it, I had another camera without one.
