Hi All,

I'm using the 85mm, 100mm, and 135mm Canon LTM lenses on VT, and when working very quickly, I find it tedious and slow to change both lens and viewfinder, as I change focal lengths. It's easy to lose track of things in the camera bag, when working quickly.

So when this Canon Zoom Viewfinder popped up at a good price, I grabbed it. It seems to work just fine for me, and it certainly speeds up changing focal lengths on the VT. Mine has the parrallax-correcting mechanism on it. These seem to go for astronomical amounts on Ebay. I also really like the adjustable ocular on the back of it.

Anybody else out there using the Zoom Viewfinders? Here is mine, on VT, with the 100mm F2 Canon:

Original VT accessory, this one is in my instruction book. Pretty cool, really.

Optically excellent finder (my copy is a bit hazy).
Not quite small (but I thinks this is usual with zoom finder)
Small eyepiece, not good with glasses. Adjustable diopter, but just for nearsight people.
The scale is 85, 90, 100, 110, 125 and 135, and has clicks at 85, 100 and 135 (the usual Canon telephoto focal lengths).

Of course, no respectable double turret finder is complete without the 21-28mm adapter 😀. Kevin Li has nice stuff, but I paid nowhere near $700 for the finder and attachment combined. These items have been in storage, (as evidenced by the dust) because I find them to be too big for regular use. Still kinda cool though, which is why I hang onto them.

Sweet! And it's the version works with the P, 7, 7S, and the V series, as well.
