I don't use my Canonet 28 much, but I must admit the pictures taken on mine all appear to be very sharp. My only wish is that it was capable of a lower shutter speed or at least a "B" setting. These were taken in Kherson, Ukraine in November 2010.

I happen to notice that you travel to Ukraine a lot. I always enjoy your images. Are you from Ukraine originally?

Don't use mine either but it isn't the cameras fault.

No, I was born in the USA, but my grandparents came from Ukraine and my dad from Vienna. I am there a lot because I work with Ukrainian/Russian teachers. In two weeks I'm back in Siberia. Haven't been in Russia for three years and I really miss it. I like to use my trips to test out RF cameras. My biggest problem is deciding which RFs I want to take with me!

Rent the movie 'Pecker' that stars a Canonet 28.

I still sometimes miss my Canonet 28. Amazingly sharp lens with really nice b&w rendering.
