Canonet 28

I have just received a Canonet 28, working well, but the film compartment door is slightly loose, may let in light. Has anyone any experiece it of fixing this, it seems that the latch needs a slight adjustment.:bang:

First, welcome to the forums. We have a lot of members who are skilled not only in repair, but also in the different Canonet models. Someone should come in sooner and aske some questions to help. Have you tried a roll of film to be sure it it lets in light or not?

Have you checked the condition of the light seals on your camera? If they have gone bad and need replacing that might account for the film door bring loose fitting.
