A few months ago I posted re: Canonet 28. Using 200 film, the pictures are sharp in the middle but out of focus on the outer edges. I took the camera to London with using 400 film [along with several others] and the pictures were much much better, but with a few exceptions. It appears that as long as the F stops are high, F11 and above, the pictures are OK, but if shooting in the shade the outer edges get distorted, primarily because the F stops drop.
I know there are some 28 users out there - is this common with the 28s? I'm thinking of getting another one because I like them and they're quite compact, but also bcause I want to see if this is true with all of them. Thanks for any input you can share!
