Canonet and Reala

Ahhh, Canonet & Reala! A perfect combo. I think that film was made with that camera in mind.

I picked up my first GIII photos today; I always take forever to shoot a test roll. I start off obsessed with perfect photogenicity, and after the 10th frame I just do my usual: bicycles, reflections, textures..Dutchness.
This camera was okay when it arrived from the *Bay seller, but it is perfect now. G'man (Thank you, Dave) worked his usual wonders. It's a delight - so instinctive - to use, it looks gorgeous in its leather jacket, and the sharpness of that lens: well, glory, glory, it's a revelation... 🙂

Nice photos! I'd have to agree, Reala and the Canonet are a dream.

IMHO, Reala is the perfect film for the Canonet. It seems to have been formulated with that lens in mind.

I particularly like the last image of the mat against the wall - wonderful textures and a great perspective of an everyday object...
