Hi folks,

Been a short while since I've posted, but unlike digital I don't go shooting my film camera every day. So it takes me a while to fill up a roll of just 36 exposures since I want to make each and every shot count.

Anyway, here are just a few pics from my latest roll. I was intending to get Neopan 400 but all they had was 100. I brought the ISO down to about 80 to see if I could get a bit more contrast on the film. Processing was normal.

All but the train photo were shot in downtown LA.

Thanks, jano.

I'm don't really know what the lab used to develop my negatives. Standard stuff, I'm sure. Since I'm a newbie to film I haven't delved into the developing aspect at all, I just get my photos processed normally because I'm still testing out different b/w films to see which work well with my newly acquired Canonet GIII.

I only have the lab develop negatives, then I scan them with my Epson 3170 and do a little bit of post-processing in Photoshop (sharpening, levels or curves, selective color to increase blacks a bit since I lose some on the scan). Then if any come out to my liking I'll make a digital file and take it in for printing.

I would, however, really like to learn how to develop my own b/w film. I think that is something I could really get into. This site has only fueled that desire, lol.
