Canonet G-III QL17 with YN-560 II flash?

I'm new here so first of all i'd like to say hallo to everybody.
Also, I'd like to ask you a question: Have you ever tried to take pictures with Canonet QL17 GIII and YongNuo YN-560 II flash? Will it work when connected to accessory shoe?
