Hello all. I recently acquired a canonet. Everytihng seems to be working with a slight hitch: If I haven't fired the shutter for mroe than a few hours, a shutter lag of a few seconds results. This only happens for the first frame. It fires normally for the next shots in that sequence. This results in one wasted frame per day. Has anyone encountered thius problem and would anyone care to voice an opinion on it's cause and how to fix it? My thanks in advance.

Almost certainly a cleaning issue. Sounds like some gunged up lubricant which sticks something if given time. Haven't worked on one of these but I suspect access to the shutter would be through the front of the lens.
