Canonet QL17 G-III question

I'm trying to fix my Canonet QL17 G-III, the shutterspeed dial got lose. So I opened up the lens and found out that the lever connected to the shutterspeed isnt at right angle with the dial.
I've uploaded 2 photos to make things more clear:

But now im not sure if this is normal or not. So I hope anyone here knows if this lever should make an angle different from 90º with the dial, or not...

I hope its clearly explained, excuses for my english.

I was a bit impatient, so I gently bent it back, and it seems to fit better now, must be ok then
So I must apologize for opening this now useless topic :$

This should most definitely be at a right angle. Mine was bent the same way.
