Thank you nhchen. I have not yet dismantle the lens. Afterall it is such a nice camera. Maybe one day. My other Canon Demi arrived the other day and I have already removed the SH30mm F1.7. It is a usable lens and adopted to my PEN. No vignetting for M43 and good sharpness and contrast after F2.0. After this adventure I might consider again the QL17. Cheers.

Have to say this was an excellent thread (especially when seeing the accompanying photos), and it helped me tackle my new Canonet. My blades were pretty gunky, but they had been functioning still when I got the camera a few weeks ago. It finally locked up on me, and I took the front and rear elements out to give it a proper cleaning. Now everything is operating as it should.

I can only see the first post at wayback machine (when i go back to 2012).
Have anyone saved the rest of the photos or know where i can get them?
