But don't wait until the Konica Auto S2 ($2125) is gone.
For a peek at some very cool cameras.

For the record, I have a Japanese-made QL17 III that I'll sell to the first taker. $1999 postpaid to anywhere in the world. Paypal only.

I've noticed rediculously high prices on a lot of pretty common cameras on ebay lately. Sellers looking for marks, IMO.

I have three GIII-QL17's. Love them. I'll part with any or all of them at $2K apiece.

If the veneer is making these prices run over the stratosphere, then I wonder of "his" sale prices without the veneer..
(Time to cover one of my M's with the most exotic sort of Bubinga veneer
Afterall it would cost definitely less than the ordinary coverings for example.. )

An M would look pretty sexy in that. Or an S2 or S3... Arguably more "worthy" than a canonet, but to each their own.

Okay...wait...this is...a.....joke..right...???
I could afford the Notebook & Pencil but why would I pay $10 for two 16 page booklets and a pencil....
You'd have to wipe down your nose every time you try to focus...unless the wood is sealed your skin oils would make dark spots wherever you come into contact with it...
But then Thompson Water Seal should make these bad boys water proof...

You should try Kevazinga (rotary cut (waterfall) Bubinga). It would cost even more.

Yes I have noticed this too. A number oof Austrian, German and Hong Kong Sellers stockpile a number of the same lens camera etc and then sell them at ridiculously high prices. They seem to think that when Leica releases an expensive fast lens that older slower versions can be doubled in price to bring them closer to the new lens price. I must admit though for a QL17 this was a bit over the top by any standard. There really is one born every minute.

Is that a Venus Forum pencil? They are hard to get hold of nowadays.

They are obviously looking for money-is-no-object people who don't know the value of these items. I've also noticed a lot of winning bids on ebay that exceed KEH prices; obviously you take a chance on the condition from an ebay sale but you know the condition from KEH, and there's little or no return or warranty period compared to KEH. I guess some people get caught up in the bidding frenzy.
I have a Konica Auto S2 that I bought from Greg Weber two years ago for $200, refurbished to mint condition, including the meter battery voltage modification. If you really want to use that camera, it is well worth it compared to messing around with $50 versions that have sat for decades and won't work properly; even if you can return a few of them, you'll be out shipping and can be out of $100 with nothing to show for it. And it was certainly much less than $2,125 from this place.

Have you read their Customer Support page?
"Each item is a unique, hand crafted limited edition, so unlike items from a production line they cannot be replaced. Consequently we are unable to offer refunds, returns or exchanges."
