Does anyone out there have a lens hood for sale for this camers ? Where might I find one. Thanks for any help.

Get a 48 mm rubber lens hood from either your camera store, Freestyle, B&H, Adorama or Porters. Have been using one on my G3 for about 12 years with no problems.

Will the same work for a Canonet QL19 (G-III)? My ruler indicates that the size is indeed 48mm but it's not that good a ruler. 🙁

48mm works for all the smaller Canonets, Both series 2, the GIII and the 28. 😉

I picked up a 48mm hood from thecamerahunter.com for $6 plus shipping. It is a collapsible rubber and works very well. Be advised though that it intrudes into the finder but so far has not been a problem for me. It is a very cheap solution.🙂
