Why is it that we do not see many if any at all, canonet ql19g111 for sale.And just how rare are they.I have noticed this as i have been looking for one for a while.

Are you sure about the 19? I have a 17 that gets too little use. Great little camera with brilliant AE and flash functions.
I don't know about production numbers of the 19. Only the 17 are mentioned in the museum page.

Well would you believe it your right there is a QL19 G111 on ebay the first one i have seen but its a little pricey for me at the moment as i would have to pay tax on its arrival in the uk too, and i have just won an action for a canon 7 this week.DAM its in lovley condition too.

There is a Canon G III QL 40mm 1.7 with case & flash for sale in the RFF Classifieds. In your neighborhood even.

The "new" QL19s were supposed to be rarer than the GIII model. (Much shorter production run) However they do seem to come up just a bit more often. I did have a GIII QL19 but it has gone now. It was just about the last of them that I sold. I was sorely tempted to keep it but I couldn't quite decide between that and the "blue" QL17. The blue one won in the end.
