Hi all,
Thought I got a great deal on a ql19 in "working" condition. Well the sellers idea of working and my own are different. Stuck shutter due to jammed timer, and novice mode slider. You get what ya pay for.
I have another more credible RF coming soon.
In the meantime I've broken it down to individual rangefinder molecules before I realized that the thing had been dropped on its face, and that all the levers and gears inside the inner element of the lens were all bent and destroyed. I don't have enough experience to bring this one back. I thought it might be a simple shutter cleaning.
I call this one a loss - does anyone have a need for any screws, bits, A nice front or rear lens, dials, rewind lever, etc? Just about everything was OK except that very inner mechanism - and can be had for quite cheap.
So short story - Parting out non-working ql19 - all parts but shutter - make offers!
